Registration begins at 7.15am, breakfast will be served at the same time.
Note: The conference will begin at 7.30am
Where should I park?
The Convention Centre carpark is the best location to park and will have the most available bays at that time of day. It is less than a 5-minutes walk to Flux Perth (crn of St Georges and Mill St) and parking is $6p/hr.
Should I eat breakfast beforehand?
No! Flux Perth will be putting on a beautiful spread for breakfast.

Kelvin has 25 years’ experience within the corporate and business sector. He has considerable experience within the SME sector both in an external advisory capacity and internally as Director and Chairman for substantial businesses ($30m – $50m) within the transport, warehousing and logistics sector, along with the commercial and residential building industry. He continues to consult with businesses across all industry sectors, most specifically construction, manufacturing, retail, finance, health and agriculture.
His areas of expertise include corporate advisory services, strategic planning, financial management, income tax, business restructuring, risk management, mergers and acquisitions, IT platform implementation, estate planning and general corporate finance advice.
Claude is a Certified Practicing Accountant with over 10 year’s experience working with small business clients, assisting them to meet their business and personal goals. Before this, he was at the forefront of a highly successful family business in the hospitality industry, where he was responsible the overall strategy and success of the venture.
In his role as Client Manager at MVP, Claude cares for a portfolio of clients working with them on a range of matters ranging from meeting their compliance obligations, right through to all aspects of business advisory and small business management.
Claude is well recognised as a specialist in the field of accounting software implementation and execution, arising from his position as Xero Certified Advisor; this gives him the ability to advise not only in relation to the leading cloud accounting platform for business but also the many add-on solutions required to run your business efficiently and effectively.
Doug has 31 years’ experience in numerous industries, with over 23 years entrenched in all areas of strategy development, planning and implementation, some of these as Group Strategist of a listed life insurance Group.
In recent years he’s acted as the Compliance Officer to a ~$500m ASX 200 listed investment company, has been the Executive Chairman of a prominent mid-tier accounting, tax and financial planning business, and still sits, as Director, advisor to various SMEs and Not-For-Profit organisations across Australia.
Robs professional career spans 28 years and covers three areas of core competencies. Over these years he has developed an extensive client base across a diverse range of industries and markets. Rob’s focus on financial reporting, taxation law, Corporations Act and financial interpretation skills provides a solid advisory platform specifically in relation to taxation structuring, business development and financial strategy and modelling.
Today, as Director of MVP’s Corporate Finance arm, he is focused on strategy, analytical advice, consulting, compliance and capital raising. Special projects include the development of public company exploration and mining projects, property syndicates, agribusiness projects and professional services business strategic development, as well as helping many companies list on the ASX.
Janean is a Certified Financial Planner with over 20 years’ experience in the financial planning industry and is accredited to provide a holistic, comprehensive financial planning service.
Janean was the owner of a successful Financial Planning Business (Legacy Financial & Legacy Succession Planning), before becoming a Director at MVP Financial. In the business, she provided holistic financial planning and wealth management service to her clients. Her previous experience also includes Director of a financial planning practice in South Africa, executive roles in the banking arena, mutual banking, insurance company’s broker distribution and fund management companies.
